Kudos and Kind Words

I first started this website with modest ambitions. But when I realized its potential for providing a public service, I started adding to it and expanding it greatly. And as time went on, people took notice, and often wrote to let me know their appreciation. Other webmasters, professional organizations, and internet service providers chose the website for recognition. Book authors have cited this website and referred their readers to it.

For anybody who works in a creative field, there is some satisfaction in just doing a job and then sitting back to look at the results. But the support of users like you means a lot. And although virtue is theoretically its own reward, it's still very nice when somebody else commends you for it, too. It's the icing on the cake.

So you might say that this page is my chance to share the icing with you. It contains just a small sampling from the many nice messages I've received, and some of the awards and recognition that the website has earned. (Since the messages were received by private mail, I've abbreviated the names of the senders.) Thanks to all of you for your ongoing support!
